After watching the spectacular opening ceremony for the 19th Commonwealth Games at New Delhi on 3rd October 2010, I am prompted here to showcase the philatelic items connected with various sports events that I have in my "Indian Flag on Stamps collection".
The beautiful Australian souvenir stamps sheet issued 4 years back on the closing ceremony of the 18th Commonwealth Games at Melbourne in 2006. The fourth from the top stamp announces "New Delhi Commonwealth Games, 2010".
